Surviving New York prison escapee David Sweat was transported to a maximum-security facility on Sunday after he and his deceased escape partner Richard Matt pulled off an elaborate escape last month.
David Sweat, the second of the escaped murderers who led authorities on a weeks-long chase through upstate New York, is back in custody after a state trooper shot and and captured him near the Canadian border on Sunday afternoon.
