Joggers leave the Saint-Martin canal in Paris as all individual sporting activities are banned from 10 a.m to 7 p.m to keep people from bending anti-coronavirus lockdown measures. President Emmanuel Macron is expected to warn France its lockdown to combat the coronavirus must go on for several more weeks at least, while also outlining how the country will recover from the crisis. It's normally one of the liveliest spots in the French capital, bringing together tourists and Parisians alike to lounge along its banks. Canal Saint-Martin now lies deserted, a victim of France's lockdown. A nationwide stay-at-home order was imposed from March 17 and officials have said the lockdown will last until at least April 15.
