A crowd of dozens of protesters throng a main road in Nigeria's capital Abuja, closely watched by the security forces, in another rally over economic hardship in the West African nation, a day after 13 people died in similar protests taking place across the country, according to rights group Amnesty International. Protesters begin marching from Montparnasse in Paris as pension reform opponents keep up the pressure on the French government. It's the sixth major demonstration against the project since the movement began on 5 December. IMAGES
Several thousand demonstrators, including railway workers, teachers and lawyers, took to the streets of Paris to march against pension reform. Dans la capitale d’Haïti, Port-au-Prince, presque toutes les constructions sont à terre. Il y aurait des milliers de morts. Le pays, pauvre et très fragile, n’a pas les moyens de porter secours aux sinistrés.
La capitale haïtienne Port-au-Prince a été largement détruite par un fort séisme d'une magnitude de 7 mardi après-midi, suivi de plusieurs répliques, faisant redouter de nombreuses victimes. Il s'agit du plus violent tremblement de terre depuis 200 ans.
