Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Soon after, new life forms began to appear there and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain "the creatures"... Our story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

S'il y trouve immédiatement un emploi de vendeur de voitures d'occasion chez le seul concessionnaire du secteur, il s'intéresse surtout à la banque locale qu'il sait mal surveillée. Tandis qu'il échafaude un plan pour en vider le coffre, il fait la connaissance de la jeune mais pas si innocente secrétaire de son patron, ainsi que de la femme de celui-ci, une manipulatrice terriblement attirante.
