In SCARY MOVIE V, happily-married couple Dan and Jody start to notice bizarre activity after they bring home Dan's brother's kids who have been on their own in the wilderness for 3 years. But when the chaos expands into Jody's job as a ballet dancer and Dan's career as an Ape researcher, they begin to think they're being stalked by the sinister ghost of the children's "Mama." Together, with the advice of certified experts and the aid of numerous cameras, they must protect their new family. SCARY MOVIE V is directed by Malcolm Lee who teamed up and worked side by side with legendary comedy director David Zucker (AIRPLANE, THE NAKED GUN franchises). Zucker wrote and directed SCARY MOVIE 3 and 4 and also co-wrote and produced SCARY MOVIE 5.
Frankie (Helen McCrory, SKYFALL) is in her forties, ambitious and successful. She works in the aerospace industry designing surveillance drones for the military. Shes never married, and is completely in control of every part of her life. Her closest relationship is with her father, who worked as an engineer on Concorde. But her life changes forever when she embarks on a passionate affair with Kahil, a French/Algerian aerospace student, twenty years younger than her. One day, she arrives at work and is detained by the security services: Kahil is a person of interest to MI5. Her well-ordered life starts to unravel in a welter of suspicion and prejudice, as Frankie no longer knows whether to follow her passion or listen to the doubts that increasingly overwhelm her.
